Statement of Faith

WE BELIEVE...

...the historic Christian faith as revealed to us in the Scriptures and taught and practiced by the apostles.

...the Bible to be the inspired Word of God revealing the ruin of man by sin, and his redemption and regeneration through the atoning work of the Lord Jesus Christ.

...in the virgin birth of Christ, His sinless life, vicarious death, bodily resurrection, ascension, return to the air for His people, and His visible return to earth to establish His kingdom.

...in one church, the Body of Christ, members of which are united to Him, their Head in heaven, by virtue of their faith in His redemptive work on the cross of Calvary.  (Ephesians 1:7)

...that the church is the dwelling of God through the Spirit, and that its members should gather together unto Christ and in His name alone, for the purpose of worship, prayer, ministry, and evangelism.  (Matthew 18:20, Ephesians 4:4)
